Yes, we operate 365 days of the year and yes rain, hail or shine! We recommend you always pack a raincoat and sunhat, as it is an outdoor activity and our weather can be unpredictable.

Each tour is different, so check tour specific's. Generally for Wai-o-tapu, Waimangu & Waitomo's Spellbound experiences are suitable for all levels of fitness (you can pick appropriate tracks). Some of the Waitomo Adventures Experiences require a higher level of fitness.

Yes, provided you follow instructions. Our driver-guides are experienced and are trained it what to do in an emergency situation. At the experiences, you are responsible for your own personal safety, however, we only work with the best operators in both Rotorua and Waitomo who have safety standards.

No, we don't provide food or drink, however, there are cafes at all of our destinations. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink. We do aim to operate zero-waste tours, therefore ask you to take your rubbish with you! Help us protect New Zealand, take only photo's and leave only footprints.

Yes, Lady Knox Geyser erupts once a day at 10.15 am, therefore you get to experience the Geyser on the Wai-o-tapu morning tour - we have never missed it!

There are places in the Wai-o-tapu area which you can go swimming in, and on our tours, you generally have enough time - so bring your togs/swimwear! Or perhaps stay a full day and head to Kerosene Creek in the afternoon and we will bring you back late afternoon (same price) With some of the Waitomo tours, you obviously get wet, please check what to bring.

Yes, our driver guides provide commentary during the tours in English. Also, feel free to ask any questions and don't be afraid to let us know if you see a great photo opportunity.

Please check details in each tour (particularly for Waitomo Adventures experiences), however, generally, it's comfortable, sturdy footwear, a jacket, sunscreen and a hat. New Zealand sun burns, even on overcast days!

Yes, we are happy if you want to stay there all day and return on our afternoon shuttle.

Yes, we are happy to drop you off and pick you up from here post your Wai-o-tapu or Waimangu half-day tour. We can also allow enough time to enable you to walk to Crater Lake (15 min walk), just ask your friendly driver-guide.
